The hard-hitting batsman of Quetta Gladiators, Jason Roy has accused Wahab Riaz of ball tampering during the 17th over of the match played on 22 Feb 2020.
Roy first asked Wahab on the field during the 17th over, whether he was tampering the ball to get reverse swing of the ball.
Wahab obviously replied with anger and things heat up between the two players.
However, Quetta Gladiators have now made it official by complaining to the PCB governing body about the issue. In post-match conference of the showdown between Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings, Sarfraz told the press that his team has taken the matter to Pakistan Cricket Board.
Nightmare of fixing in Pakistan Super League:
It is not the first time any player has been accused of false game play. Rather, Sharjeel Khan was later banned by PCB for more than 2 years for fixing.
Umar Akmal was also banned by PCB for entire tournament for not reporting an offer from a bookie.
